My adorable freshie, since you have accepted your admission I can now call you freshie and no longer ‘aspirant’. In this article, I will show you how to print your official admission letter from JAMB. Let’s go.
Take note that the admission letter is different from the confirmation you saw on your portal after you accepted your admission.
The admission letter is an official document which you will need alongside your JAMB original result and other credentials during your admission screening.
Now, let’s proceed to the steps involved in printing your JAMB admission letter.
Access the correct JAMB portal.
Input your email address and password.
Make sure to use only the email address registered with JAMB. That means, the one you used during your JAMB exam registration.
Navigate to ‘print admission letter’.
You will be required to make payment in order to print your JAMB admission letter.
You will find the card payment option and the transfer option. Simply choose either one of these two payment options.
The actual amount is 1,000 Naira, but expect a little above that amount which would include charges.
Once you have successfully made payment, you will receive a payments confirmation via email.
You will also be redirected to your JAMB portal to print out your JAMB admission slip.

There are two slips, one for yourself (original copy, for candidate) and one for your new school (duplicate, for institution).
You finally have valid documents that authenticate your admission status. Please keep the admission slips safe.
Now that you have printed your JAMB admission letter, it is important to confirm that your name has been updated on JAMB matriculation list.
I will show you how to check your name on the JAMB matriculation list, on my next post.
For now, share the exciting news! Which course and school have you been offered admission? Keep it rolling, and I’ll see you soonest!
